Lindsey Vavra owns and operates her boutique studio located in Harlingen, TX.  Lindsey's passion for the art of photography started when she had her first child.  She remembers taking her old 35mm camera and snapping away constantly to preserve that memory.  She has since studied through the New York Institute of Photography and continues to attend many workshops and seminars taught by prestigious photographers.  In 2005, Lindsey started her business out of her passion for creating art and life long memories through photography.

Lindsey is a wife and mother of two awesome little boys ages 8 and 4.  She understands deeply how important it is to capture those memories of your precious little ones before they grow and the sweetest moments have passed.  Lindsey's passion is to capture precious memories for you while providing a Joyful experience.  We promise to cherish these fleeting moments with you.

Hugs to you all!

Sweet Baby{By: Lindsey & JJ Vavra/Harlingen Professional Photographers}

This past month I took a big leap/investment and traveled 16 hrs to a 2:1 Mentorship taught by an amazing newborn photographer.  I learned so much and still need a TON of practice, but here is my first newborn session after my 2 day, hands on class.

Ms.H was a great model, except for the fact that she wore mittens and did not want me to open her fist :).  It took time, but we got them flattened out.  Sweet girl!

This was a little of what I learned.  Much, Much More to come!!!!!  I can’t wait for my next newborn session!!!!

Senior/Family Photo Shoot {By:Lindsey & JJ Vavra/Rio Grande Valley Professional Photographers}

I cannot think of a better time to capture your family then when your oldest child is getting ready to leave for college.

JJ and I REALLY enjoyed working with this family while we captured Ms. G’s senior portraits!  We were beyond grateful for the studio, because it was a such a hot and humid day.  We still made outdoors just before the sunset.  We only melted a little, but it was worth it :)

Thank you H family for allowing us the opportunity to capture you at this time in your lives.

Fall Costume Mini Sessions

Harlingen South Football Program

Hello Everyone,

During the Summer we had the privilege of working with Harlingen South Southern Stars.  They hired us to create an image for the front of their football program.  This was such a fun project to work on.  Their was a ton of research, planning, cooperation with the Southern Star leaders and the high school models.  I think the end result turned out very well and I hope it helped sell more programs.

Below is the final art piece that was used on the cover.

September 24, 2012 - 9:27 pm Julie Gonzalez - This was by far the best cover we have ever had! GREAT work!!

September 25, 2012 - 1:22 am Lindsey Vavra - Thank you so much Julie!! It was a blast working on it. We hope to do it again next year.

Sweet Boy {By:Lindsey Vavra/ Edinburg Professional Photographer}

Look Who is 1!

This little pumpkin is such a doll!  Just looking at her made me smile. This session was to capture her and her family as she turned one!  JJ and I loved the session. Such a sweet, sweet family!

I love this shot!  Such a loving family!

The girls!

SO Adorable!

SWEET!

Gorgeous big sister.

Of course we had to dress in lace in pearls for a few shots.  So hard to pick which one is the best.

Blocks and pearls :)

And of course we had to monkey around.  :)
